Fire Safety at Georgia Tech

Students are our top priority at Georgia Tech. The GT Fire Safety is a division of Environmental Health and Safety and is responsible for enforcement of the National and Federal fire and life safety codes as adopted by the State of Georgia. Our responsibilities include construction plan review and permitting, inspections, and community educational programs.

Fire Safety Training

Georgia Tech's Fire Safety Office offers:

  • American Heart Association Heartsaver/CPR/AED/Basic Life Support (BLS)/First-Aid Training
  • General Fire Safety and Lab Safety Training (online and in-person)
