Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a new rule regulating methylene chloride also known as Dichloromethane (DCM). Use of DCM in laboratories will continue to be allowed if an alternative is not possible, with new and strict regulatory procedures.
All laboratories are required to complete this short DCM Use Intake Form by February 21, 2025.
