Lab Floor Cleaning
We have received consistent feedback that our lab staff are unsure of how to request floor cleanings, that lab staff do not always feel comfortable having their floors cleaned, and that building services does not always feel comfortable entering lab spaces to clean floors. We have developed a few guiding documents for you to ensure that the floors in your labs remain clean and that a consistent process is in place to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

For the 22nd annual Georgia Tech Earth Day Festival on April 19, 2019, EHS focused on the initiative to improve the functionality of a research building.
The Green Labs Initiative is co-lead by EHS and the Office of Campus Sustainability (OCS) and aims to empower Georgia Tech to optimize resources and facilitate the integration of sustainable practices, while maintaining the highest safety standards.
The focus of this year's Biosafety Month is promoting a culture of biosafety and responsibility. We'll be in the BioQuad periodically throughout October, so stop by!
