April Kelly

April KellyApril Kelly is our new Environmental Programs Manager. She comes to us from South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) where she served as a Environmental and Safey Supervisor.  She brings 17 years of experience to the EHS department.  April has a Bachelor of Science in Professional Biology, a Masters in Health Administration and a Masters in Business Administration.  April was drawn to Georgia Tech because of its reputation as a premier university.  She is eager to make a positive contribution to the environmental culture and hopes to integrate ideas and lessons learned from her years of experience to support the environmental programs at Georgia Tech.  

April enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, reading, shopping, sporting activities and outdoor adventures.  She also loves to volunteer and give back to the community.

 

Jake LeJeune

Jake LeJeuneJake LeJeune is currently a Fire Safety Specialist Senior for GA Tech Fire Safety Office. In 2003, while working semester breaks on oil and gas platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, Jake earned an Associate Degree in Fire Science from Louisiana State University.  Jake continued his education and received both an Associate Degree in Police Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology from Eastern Kentucky University. Jake is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist, a Certified Fire Plan Reviewer and a Certified Fire Inspector II.

Before coming to Georgia Tech, Jake worked for Boynton Beach Fire Rescue in Palm Beach County Florida as a Fire Protection Engineer for over 10 years.

Even though, Atlanta, Georgia is a new scenery for him, he is enjoying being here.  Jake enjoys different genres of music, especially the Blues, Cajun cuisines, outdoor adventures, and the family farm back in Louisiana.

 

Jerry Marrison Sr.

Jerry MarrisonJerry Marrison is currently a Fire Safety Specialist for the Fire Safety Office. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Marrison was the Manager of Education for St. Vincent’s Ambulance in 2017 and prior to that he was the Fire Marshal for Nassau County Fire Rescue in Nassau County Florida. Mr. Marrison has a Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Fire & Emergency Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, and Associate of Science in both Fire and Paramedic Sciences.

Mr. Marrison is certified by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist, and also as an Inspector 2 from NFPA. He is an American Heart Instructor in all disciplines, and carries many certifications from the State of Florida. He comes to us with over 23 years of fire, Emergency Medical and fire prevention and educational experience.

Jerry enjoys golfing, bowling and target shooting among other interests.  Jerry has been married for 27 years and has three children and two grandchildren that he enjoys spending time with.
