Once every five years, we go through a massive effort to renew Georgia Tech’s Title V Air Quality permit. We are subject to this requirement due to our location in the greater Atlanta Non-Attainment area and because we are classified as a Major Source of NOx pollution.

EHS has to account for every bit of fuel burning equipment throughout the campus in order to calculate our potential to emit. Thanks to everyone from Housing, Facilities Management, Athletics, and Dining Services for helping us out!
