A methane odor may be the result of the sink and floor drain traps drying out, which allows sewer gases—including methane—to escape into the room.
Remedy: please flush the drains WEEKLY by pouring 1-Liter of water down all sinks and floor drains (especially rarely used ones) to keep drain traps filled.
Call your Building Manager or GT Facilities if odors persist despite regular maintenance.
Recombinant DNA research is a valuable tool in a scientist arsenal. But rDNA does come with a variety of rules and regulations that are determined by the National Institutes of Health. This class will familiarize attendees with the rule and regulations as well as the governing structure and any special Georgia Tech rules.
