The Radiation Safety Committee is responsible for maintaining the health and safety standards associated with the use of radioactive materials and X-ray producing devices on the Georgia Tech campus and conforming to the regulations of the State of Georgia. The Committee shall review and approve or disapprove all proposed experiments and tests, operating procedures, facility design, reportable occurrences, and Radiation Safety Policy involving or utilizing non-exempt quantities of radioactive material and all other types of ionizing radiation on the Georgia Tech campus.
