Georgia Tech had another successful Campus Safety Day on September 6. Hosted by GTPD, Campus Safety Day highlights various safety resources and initiatives from units across campus.  EHS focused on Incident Response to lab and general safety issues. We displayed the manikins and AED used for CPR/AED training provided by the Fire Safety Office. Radiological Safety had their trusty GM meter and challenged participants to locate the radioactive source. New infographic posters highlighted steps to take during an exposure incident, such as rinsing for 15 minutes (eyes and skin).  In FY 2016, EHS responded to 58 incidents in all (laboratory, fire/safety).
