After over 15 years in a “temporary building” co-located with the Georgia Tech Motor Pool, the Hazardous Waste Office has a new state of the art facility with lots of room and numerous operational and safety features. The new facility with all its enhancements will make us more efficient, safer, and in compliance with the numerous Environmental Protection Agency dictates. 

Most customers will not see much of a change in service (although the Hazardous Waste Technicians may appear happier). Those customers who routinely bring their waste to us will see some changes in procedures – coming soon.
