Safety is a community effort! The Facilities Safety Committee and Facilities Electrical Safety Committee is purposed to promote a continuous culture of safety to their peers and campus. These committees have helped raised safety awareness in their respective areas and maintain campus safety through reporting and alleviating hazards that are found throughout the campus.

The Committees newly elected Chairs and Vice-Chairs have helped to mainstream safety not only within their departments but also around the entire GA Tech campus through inspections, walk arounds and hazard reporting.

The committee members all share the same vision for their respective committees which is maintaining and improving campus safety.

The success of these committees has come from the entire committee member’s dedication, commitment and passion for safety.  Stop and say hi if you see any of the committee members around campus and don’t hesitate to make them and EHS aware of any safety hazards you spot. Remember safety works best if we are all committed!
