Georgia Tech had another very successful Earth Day on April 20, 2018. The theme for this year’s Earth Day was “To Green And Beyond.” The EHS department focused on “What EHS Does To Protect Our Air Quality” by discussing the importance of the Title V Air Operating Permit and some of the equipment associated with compliance and reporting.
We displayed information that identified what federal and state agencies that regulates our emissions and why we are regulated. We also shared the monitoring and testing requirements that are specified in our Title V Air Operating Permit as well. Based on some feedback from individuals that stopped by our booth, the information was well received and provided insight on a critical component of the Environmental Programs area.
