GT has several faculty-led safety committees that provide oversight, guidance and protocol review for several aspects of research safety. Cross-college faculty-led safety committees are a critical and integral part of the research enterprise, giving input and feedback on new safety initiatives as well as guidance in challenging safety situations. EHS relies heavily on the expertise and experience of faculty to effectively manage the research safety risks on campus and greatly appreciates the time commitment given. Two professors who dedicated 10 years serving as Chairs were recognized for their service and contributions to enhancing the safety culture at Georgia Tech.
I would like to recognize all Committee members and their current Chairs and strongly encourage others to represent their school:
-
Institute Council EHS: Dr. Chris Jones
-
